Fabrication of Lifting Beams
1. All the materials and components will be inspected by Quality Control Dept. so materials come in with a warranty and visual inspection of the appearance to ensure that the most suitable and qualified components are used on lifting beams.
2. All steel works will be built up by means of CO2 gas welding. All the welds, even spots, will have penetration without undercutting or porosity.
3.Every beam will be manufactured under effective Quality Control procedures, and every production line of the factory will be inspected and controlled by the Quality Control Dept. Upon completion, check the diagonal dimensions and weld leg height.
4.All welding required 100% VISUAL INSPECTION , 100% DP OR MPI, UT Class 20%.
5.The steel surface after forming will be degreased and shot blasted to Standard SA 2.5 which can result in the removement of the rust, dirt, mill scale and other foreign materials.
6.All the steel surface will be coated with primer paint immediately after shot-blasting.The next day after the primer is finished, and followed with the secondary paint operation immediately.
